A trip through the Finger Lakes

The Finger Lakes a group of eleven long, narrow, roughly north–south lakes in the Finger Lakes region in of New York. The geological term refers to a long, narrow lake in an over deepened glacial valley.

The region is known for producing excellent wine. If also has a number of breweries, distilleries and hard-cider producers.

Outdoors activity’s include hiking, biking, boating and fishing. There are also state parks with scenic trails including a number of waterfalls.

Sunsets in Aruba

The Caribbean sun starts to descend late in the evening as the day turn to night. Depending on the color of the sky and how much clouds you get a different type of sunset each night.

Aruba Underwater Photo Safari 2018

This was our seventh Aruba Photo Safari. This year we spent more time touring and photographing the island. In the sixteen years I have been visiting Aruba I have never seen the water as rough and currents as strong as this year. Carlos from Mermaid Sport Dives told us it was because of high winds and storms out in the Atlantic.

Olympus OM-D/EM1 Mark II in a was PT-EP14 Underwater Housing and PPO-E04 Dome Lens Port use for the underwater photographs. Lighting was two Fantasea Radiant 1600 Video Lights. OM-D/EM1 Mark II was used for all the land photographs.
